This recipe was sent in by: Betty Borer Make a soup recipe (or use chicken broth) as usual in a 4 quart pan. Bring the soup to a slow rolling boil, then open a pop-open can of biscuits. Place the biscuits, one at a time, on the top of the bubbling soup and cover for about three to five minutes. Watch carefully so it does not boil over. Larger biscuits can take a few minutes longer. After they have risen, carefully turn with a large soup spoon and allow them to cook uncovered until done. The dumplings will also slightly thicken the broth. These dumplings will not only soak up the flavor of your stock, but will also put a smile on your family's face ! |
